Unwind Neal Shusterman

I first read this book when I was about 14, and its still one of my favorite books. When I think about the main events of this story they remind me of how history repeats its self. The underground railroad and the holocaust would be the most relative events. The story captures the lives of three young people who try to escape their fate of being "unwound." "Unwind" is a common term used through the book, which means to salvage unwanted teens for their body parts. I know that topic sounds morbid, but the store captured my heart and never let it go. The main characters are named Connor,Lev, and Risa. Connor's parents don't want him because he is a trouble maker. Risa has no parents and is sent to be unwound to cut orphanage costs, and Lev's unwinding has been planned since his birth.
